To: T10@t10.org Subject: SAS-2 SSC Investigation - Is this Tape? From: Kevin D Butt <kdbutt@us.ibm.com> Date: Mon, 13 Mar 2006 09:18:59 -0700 X-Message-Number: 6711 Formatted message: HTML-formatted message Attachment #1: nameless-2712-3.jpg Barry, I am confused here. First, in SCSI SSC refers to SCSI Stream Commands. I see no mention of tape in this proposal. From what I read it appears that SSC is referring to some kind of filter or like method of signal modification. Would you please provide the meaning of this acronym in your document? Also, if possible could you find an acronym to use that does not confuse us that are unable to attend SAS WG meetings?
